Paul has been a media trainer for
the last 5 years, following a 20 year
career in television and radio
journalism as a local and network
TV reporter, business correspondent,
news programme editor, current
affairs producer, and network
documentary producer for
Dispatches and Equinox on
Channel 4 Television. Paul was nominated for a BAFTA award for his Dispatches programme “The Truth Of Christmas Island” and won an RTS award for investigative journalism for “Aids Hits Home”. He then took the post of Head of Corporate Affairs at Scottish Television for two years.
In the late 1990s Paul spent five years as Director Of Broadcast with Countrywide Porter Novelli – one of the top four PR consultancies in the UK, and the biggest European-wide.
In the last five years since forming Media Mentor Paul has media trained over a thousand clients throughout the UK. He is a regular broadcaster on BBC Radio Scotland.
